September 27, 2017 — Public lecture hosted by St. Paul’s University College. Patrick Meier, an expert in the humanitarian application of digital and robotic technology will be delivering the Stanley Knowles Humanitarian Service Lecture which is open to all members of the local KW community. September 30, 2017 — concert at Rockwood United Church at 7 pm. Rockwood and Stone United Church choirs will come together on September 30th to sing, celebrate, and raise funds to help put an end to global hunger. For more information see the poster, which is a .jpg file.

October 1, 2017 — Community Ministry Concert 2 to 4 p.m., at Calvary Memorial United Church, 91 Gruhn St. Kitchener. Soul Sauce, an acapella vocal jazz ensemble of about 14 members. Plus, Greg Gibson, a young jazz pianist and the organist at Christ The King United Church, Kitchener. Proceeds will support the Community Ministry Program offered jointly by Calvary Memorial United Church and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

October 16, 2017— An Evening with Rev David Maginley, 7 p.m. at Trinity United Church 400 Stevenson St N, Guelph. David will speak on Compassion and the Power of Dying Well. Confirmation Classes — Emmanuel United Church is hosting and facilitating Confirmation 2017/2018. We will offer Confirmation Classes once per month running from September - March. Confirmation Certificates will then be issued in time for you to arrange a confirmation ceremony in your home church during Eastertime. Contact us today to reserve your spot!
